Recipe: Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Bake

Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Bake Ingredients

  • 1 (6 ounce) package STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

  • 1? pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen chopped broccoli, thawed

  • pound VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can reduced-sodium condensed cream of chicken soup

How to Make Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare stuffing mix as directed on package; set aside.

  2. Mix chicken, broccoli, VELVEETA and soup in 13x9-inch glass baking dish; top with the stuffing.

  3. BAKE 30 min. or until chicken is cooked through.

  • This is a family staple. I boil the chicken first, then use the broth in the stuffing. When I put it in the oven its just to brown the? stuffing and melt the cheese.

  • Wanted a meal at home made from things I had in the pantry and fridge. This was quick and easy to throw together for a weeknight warm meal. I wouldnt serve this as a Thanksgiving main dish or anything, but it was easy and filling. Here are my critiques/additions:1. As another reviewer stated, CUT UP THE CHICKEN or use pre-cooked. This took about 50 minutes to bake and I DID cut up chicken tenderloins. 2. Thaw the broccoli all the way (I did not, which may have contributed to #1....)3. We added some bacon crumbles on top afterwards and it was AMAZING May try adding diced ham in with the chicken next time. Overall, good meal

  • The chicken did not cook in all that cheese, should have been partially cooked before going in, or chopped up or something.

  • I made this but cut up the chicken into small pieces and cooked it fully adding seasoning salt, chili powder, sea salt, pepper once fully cooked I added the broccoli cream of chicken soup and cubes up the cheese letting it melt some and cooked the stuffing while waiting dumped the mixture into the baking pan and ended up adding 2 packs of stuffing instead of one Loved it

  • I made my own dressing using just celery, onions, (two crusts of bread cubed and cooked in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes). I just sauteed the onions and celery and poultry seasoning in butter for about 10 minutes, poured 1/2 cup of water with a chicken bouillion in it -- added some extra spices -- sage, parsley, garlic powder and a bit more poultry seasoning, added the bread crumbs and cooked them in covered tin foil for 20 minutes and uncovered for 10 minutes. it was really good.

  • Cut back on the cheese and the soup a little. Added extra stuffing and cut the chicken to about 1 inch cubes. Cooked for 50 minutes.
