Recipe: Harrison Muesli

Ive had this muesli every time my family and I went to Harrison Hot Springs in Canada. They served it at the breakfast buffet. I could never get a recipe but I think its pretty close to the real thing Its different but very good I recommend making this the night before to have in the morning - a very fast, easy breakfast.

Harrison Muesli Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla soy milk, divided

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • cup sweetened flaked coconut

  • cup chopped pecans

  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt

How to Make Harrison Muesli

  1. Blend 1 cup soy milk with blueberries in a blender until the mixture has the consistency of a smoothie, about 1 minute.

  2. Stir together the oats, coconut, and pecans in a large bowl. Stir in the blueberry mixture, yogurt, and the remaining soy milk. Cover; refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.

  • This is my introduction to muesli, and we enjoyed it. I like that you easily can mix it up the night before, and its ready for you in the morning. All of this recipes ingredients are things that I eat often (just not all together), so I felt pretty certain Id like this...and I did

  • This was like yogurt porridge. I feel like I wasted my ingredients. I could see how some people may possible like it, so I wouldnt give it 1-star, but I dont think this is an impressive recipe.
