Gluten-Free Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • teaspoon salt

  • ? teaspoon pepper

  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  • cup Bisquick Gluten Free mix

  • 1 cup milk

  • 3 eggs

How to Make Gluten-Free Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in salt and pepper. Spread in pie plate; sprinkle with cheese.

  2. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate.

  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

  • Pretty good Just be sure to shred your own cheese. Almost all store bought shredded cheese contains gluten. Its what keeps it from sticking together. Those with a strong gluten sensitivity or allergy may be getting "glutenized" by using the store bought shredded cheese

  • Thank you for sharing this Always looking for gluten free recipes. This was a tried and true "go-to" recipe I used often when my kids were growing up. So I made the same but added fresh chopped tomatoes, creole seasoning, and Monterey Jack cheese mixed with cheddar.   • Seasoned the beef how I season hamburgers: with Greek seasoning, garlic salt and pepper. Garnished with fresh cut tomatoes. DH suggested using a muffin tin to make individual servings.
